How to Become a Member of the Association

Membership in the Association is open to individual cities, municipal entities, and other public law entities from BRICS+ countries, as well as associations (unions) of municipal entities that are registered in accordance with the law and other legal entities

Application Preparation
A city or municipality wishing to join the Association must prepare the necessary documentation and submit an application based on the guidelines for the admission process.

Application Review
The Secretariat of the Association reviews the submitted application for completeness and accuracy of the provided information and, based on the results, issues a reasoned conclusion recommending the Presidium to either accept the applicant as a member of the Association or to deny membership.

Decision Making
The Presidium of the Association, based on the review of the Secretariat's recommendation regarding each application, decides to either accept the applicant as a member of the Association or to deny membership.

Signing the Agreement
In the case of a positive decision and after signing the agreement, the new member is granted full access to the initiatives of the Association.
