How to Become a Member of the Association

Membership in the Association is open to individual cities, municipal entities, and other public law entities from BRICS+ countries, as well as associations (unions) of municipal entities that are registered in accordance with the law and other legal entities

Application Preparation
In order to become a member of the Association, an organization that has expressed a desire to become a member of the Association must send the following package of documents to the Secretary General by email (info@bricscities.com):

1. certificate of state registration of a legal entity;
2. certificate of registration as a taxpayer;
3. Charter of a legal entity;
4. decision of the authorized body on approval of entry into the Association membership;
5. document confirming the powers of the head of the legal entity;
6. questionnaire of member of the Association;
7. application for admission.

Application Review
The Secretary General of the Association reviews the received application for completeness of the information provided and, based on the results, issues a reasoned conclusion.

Decision Making
The Presidium, following the results of consideration of the recommendation of the Secretary General in relation to each application: accepts membership in the Association or refuses admission to membership in the Association.
