The 30th Conference of the Parties (COP30) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) will take place from 10 to 21 November 2025 in Belém, Pará, Brazil. This high-level international event is one of the most significant global platforms dedicated to climate policy and sustainable development.
For the first time in history, the COP will be hosted in the Amazon region — a globally vital ecological and cultural area with immense importance for the planet’s climate stability.
COP30 will bring together government delegations, scientists, international organizations, private sector stakeholders, and civil society to negotiate and align strategies for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, enhancing climate resilience, and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
